About the Role / What Will You Own

As a Business Development Intern at Socialwyz, focusing on Email and LinkedIn marketing, you will play a crucial role in expanding our digital presence and client base. Your responsibilities will include:

- Market and User Research: Conduct research on target markets and user demographics for effective campaign targeting.

- Campaign Development: Assist in the development and execution of email marketing and LinkedIn marketing campaigns to generate leads and drive engagement.

- Content Creation: Support the creation of engaging content for email newsletters, and LinkedIn posts.

- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze campaign performance metrics. Provide insights and recommendations for optimization.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align strategies and achieve campaign goals.

- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of campaign activities and prepare regular reports on campaign performance.


Who are we looking for

- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.

- Experience: Prior internship experience (minimum 3 months) in digital marketing, email marketing, or LinkedIn marketing is preferred.

- Skills: Basic understanding of email marketing, and LinkedIn marketing principles, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude towards learning.

- Tools: Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g.Apollo,Mailchimp) and LinkedIn business tools is a plus.

30-60-90 Day Plan

30 Days:

- Research: Conduct market research on competitor campaigns, audience demographics, and campaign types. Outline initial strategies for email and LinkedIn marketing.

- Execution : Begin executing pilot email marketing campaigns and LinkedIn organic content marketing. Monitor initial results and gather feedback.

60 Days:

- Research: Deep dive into competitor campaigns and audience segmentation strategies. Refine email and LinkedIn marketing strategies based on initial campaign performance.

- Execution : Launch optimized email marketing campaigns and LinkedIn organic content marketing. Implement A/B testing and analyze performance metrics for continuous improvement.

90 Days:

- Research : Evaluate the effectiveness of previous campaigns. Identify opportunities for scaling and expanding outreach efforts.

- Execution : Implement advanced email and LinkedIn marketing tactics. Prepare comprehensive reports on campaign performance and strategic recommendations for future initiatives.


Interview Process

  1. Round 1 - Screening: Candidates based on resume review focusing on relevant experience in email marketing and LinkedIn organic content. Top 10 candidates from all applicants are shortlisted at this stage.

  2. Round 2 - Skills assessment : Skills assessment tasks for email marketing campaign strategy and LinkedIn content creation. Top 3 to 5 candidates shortlisted at this stage.

  3. Round 3 - Culture Fit: Final panel interview to assess cultural fit, role-specific scenarios, and career goals alignment. Final candidate selected and offer letter extended.
